Weddings

A wedding is one of life's most meaningful experiences since it is a celebration of the uniting of a couple before God. It is our desire to help you have a wedding ceremony dedicated to the glory of God which will reflect your choice to be married in a Christian celebration of worship at GSUMC. You will be inviting friends and family to support you in this time of joy; you also are inviting the grace of God to be a part of your wedding and your marriage.

We also offer you our love, support, and prayers as a community of faith as you seek to make this holy covenant.  We invite you to be a part of our church family as we all continue to learn and grow in our own marriages and families. May God's blessings be on you as you begin this new journey of life together!

Meeting & Event Space

We welcome the use of our building for meetings and special events, such as concerts and birthday celebrations, especially for church members.

Nonprofits, civic groups and volunteer groups are especially welcome; commercial use of the building is not allowed. Please schedule as far in advance as possible to allow time for Trustee approval of some events if needed.

"Our group has been meeting at GSUMC for nearly three decades. Our members and others seeking the recovery in OA* have consistently been able to count on this safe and clean meeting space. We have been, and remain, deeply grateful. You and your members have been most gracious."

Feel free to drop by the church during business hours to complete a Building Use Application, or download the application here: Building Use Application.pdf
